About me

I am an Assistant Professor at University of Pisa (UNIPI) and a member of the KDD-lab: a joint research team that connects the Computer Science Dept. of the University of Pisa, CNR-ISTI, and SNS.

I'm a member of the Social Network Analysis (SNA) and Human Migration Studies KDD teams.

I collaborate/collaborated in SoBigData, HumMingBird, SoBigData++, MeMind, and SoBigData.it Horizon 2020 European Projects.

Educational Background

I studied arts and graphics at the Liceo Artistico Passaglia of Lucca in the Experimental and Visual Ambiental course. I graduated cum laude in Digital Humanities (MS and BS) at the University of Pisa with two theses developed in the Computational Linguistics area at CoLingLab (Computational Linguistic Laboratory). I received a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a thesis on the conjunct usage of Big Data and Sentiment Analysis for the study of Human Migration at University of Pisa.
